“Life is more or less a lie, but then again, that's exactly the way we want it to be.”

I have a fatal flaw of taking people for their word. People I do not know very well, not so much, however people I interact with regularly, there word is a legal binding contract enforceable by death if broken.
I do not consider myself a writer, not like some of the many talented people I know from days gone by that still create written content for money. I do, however, like to believe I have a unique mind and a lot to share with the world, I just do not know how to get it out.
Like many others in the United States, I witnessed something I never thought I would see—domestic terrorism incited by a sitting United States President. While the vitriol spewed from Donald Trump was not surprising, the actions taken by the feeble-minded that hang on his every word did.
I feel bad physically, mentally, and emotionally. This feeling is likely my body telling me I need to make a lot of changes.
Yesterday I was on the fence over whether to use my quarterly eBay Bucks and monthly credit card points on a PSA graded Luka Doncic rookie card or a PSA graded Mickey Mantle. It was a hard decision, but I made my choice.
Doncic is one of the biggest rising stars in the NBA while Mantle and Mays are ICONIC MLB Hall-of-Famers. Doncic has a sky-high ceiling in terms of potential while the icons have proven careers. Which would either bring me the most joy to own and/or carry the most value say 5, 10, 20 years from now?
Can it be any more cliché that I am re-branding the site on New Year's Day 2021?
